Zoe is green.

Here's a fun little something. A cute short film called L'amie de Zoe, directed by Matthieu Roussel. I really like the visual approach. Anytime people try to do something different with CG animation I feel happy. Take a moment and have a look.

Interesting and charming. I'm glad they tried to stylize the animation as well. Probably could have been pushed that more. I haven't seen that texture map face technique in a while. I hope it inspires more experimentation.

Aaw how cute!

It had a nice visual charm and the story was entertaining.

The only thing I didn't like was the voice over, the woman didn't really emphasize anything, it all sounded very dreary as if she was reading a bedtime story just to get her child to go to sleep.

See, I liked it that the narrator sounded kinda like a mom reading a bedtime story to a child. It made the animation seem like we were seeing inside the child's imagination.

Is this possibly the set up for a children's show?

Where does this play (besides all those festivals). It looks like something that would be a fun segment on Sesame Street.

Looks like it's a festival baby, but I could see it becoming a toddler TV show.

Great design, this seems to me a children's book

I'm not an animator but I think this is a really cool style. I love how the characters wobble as they fly into view and suddenly stop. It feels like the characters do it all the time and it doesn't even phase them. It rocks!
